Replacement Charger for Zeus

Postby mbottema » Sat Dec 28, 2013 8:02 am

Hard to search the forum, so I'm not sure if this has been asked before.

I got my friend a Zeus kit, some tanks and smileos. She loves them. But she just lost the cable for the Zeus.

Would any USB/Mini cable work?

Mbottema sir you want one that uses 28awg wire, reason for this is using a lower gauge can cause a slight overcharge.

Thanks Morandir sir. I will place an order. But since we are in Japan will a standard cable damage the battery is caution is used not to over charge?

No real way of protecting against it Mbottema sir. The lower resistance of a 24awg or 26awg will cause a higher end charge when the light goes green on the Zeus. Luckily most standard USB mini cables are 28awg, usually it's marked on the side of the cable.

Ok, I'll try and find the right kind to help her get a charge while she waits for the replacement.
Thanks for the quick response.
