Zeus battery problems charging

Postby kermit » Sat Jan 11, 2014 11:58 am

Had my Zeus for about 6 months and today it seems to be temperamental when charging. When I first plugged it in there was not light on it, after fiddling with if for a while I can get a light to see that it is charging, but once I moved it the light goes out. Any suggestions on how to fix it or is my battery dying. :scared:

Hey Kermit!

Are you using the USB cable to charge or the slim line?
Sounds like a bad connection. How often do you clean your Zeus? If you are using the slim line charger those should be cleaned as well.

Hopefully we will be able to help you :) Sorry your Zeus is acting weird :(

I am using the slimline with the USB . It seems to be that the cable is not staying in the correct spot or that the pins are not in the correct spot for the cable to plug in. Clean it at least once a week. Have noticed lately that it has been harder to plug in though.

Ms. Kermit do you mean you're using the slim line USB adapter?

Have you tried a different USB cord by any chance? Is there any damage to the USB plug on the Zeus itself?

I am using the USB slimline and I have tried another cord and it seems to be a problem with the zeus battery not the cords. I have tried to adjust the pins on the battery and have sort of got it working ..well it works as long as I don't move it once it is attached.

I would definitely suggest contacting CS for a replacement. They have a 1 year warranty.

Looks like it is the usb cable that I think seems to have now broken a pin so can't use it while it is charging :scared: Ordered another one and looks like I will have to put in a ticket with cs.

I'm having the exact same issue.
I've used several different Usb cables to charge but all are very loose, there's clearly a bad contact since my other battery is still charging without problems.

It's a pain to charge, the slightest movement kills the power to the battery.
It's a shame since i've only had it for 2 months and loving it.

If you have the order number, you can send it to brandon@vapor4life.com and I can work with CS to get you a replacement.
